Pre Season Training for 2012

The 2012 season is upon us again already. This year is going to be our biggest and best year ever and the only way we are going to achieve that is by putting in a lot of hard work. So with that being said we will be starting preseason training on Monday 21st or Tuesday 22nd of November at 7 pm at Mt Annan cricket oval depending on everybody’s availability. Leading up into the Christmas and New Year’s break we will meet once a week till. These training seasons will go for an hour and hour and a half. These sessions are about doing some training and getting everyone together and building some unity. They will be a mix of training and things like touch football etc.

On the 3rd of December we will also be having a beach day at Thirroul beach. This will also be a light training run but more a fun day out with your mates having a few beers and a BBQ, families are welcome. This year’s
preseason training will be based around having fun with your mates. This is our last shot at doing it for our mates so let’s all get together train hard and play even harder. We all have the potential on the field we just have to do the fitness work off the field so we are fit and ready to go at the start of the season. If we all work as hard as each other and do the work we will be more then competitive on the field and enjoy the season of the field. So let’s really challenge ourselves get out there and have a go basically.
Training after Christmas will slowly get more intense and move into 2 days a week. Training will be compulsory this year and it will benefit you in the long run. So boys get back to me with your availability

hard as all of you boys. Let’s do it for each other and not let the South West Strikers dream die because we all know it’s a good thing for everyone involved out at hockey. Let’s have a big year and not have any excuse at the end of next year.

Don’t forget to put in the calendar Sunday, January 8, 2012 Strikers will be having a Registration/ Tennis day at Wests.
